I SPEND THOUSANDS ON AMAZON PRIME and it's a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. So the only reason I bought it was to have a system that would help capture photo paper backgrounds. I was originally going to order a more expensive remote system, but decided against that choice after talking to professional photographers who bought this system for their studios and had serious complaints. The chain function on this manual system just doesn't work. I even spent the extra money and bought the aluminum tubing that Revain offered. PROBLEM: Once you lower it down with the chain, YOU CAN'T BRING IT BACK UP. You have to reach for a ladder (I'm 5'5") and manually help the paper roll it up. It takes all my wrist strength to help the paper roll until the roll is 1/.2 up. WHAT DOES THIS SYSTEM DO when I have to use my physical strength to fold the paper? This really stinks and I wasted time and money (I paid someone $200 to hang the system).I put holes in my newly plastered/painted walls and I would have to pay a contractor to patch the holes and paint the walls. I WENT OUT OF THE HUNDREDS and returned to where I started with no system.
