We old folks decided we needed a shuffler because of the increasing arthritis in our hands. None of us can shuffle cards effectively anymore. The unit is available in 2-deck, 4-deck, or 6-deck options. Choose 4-deck. Do you have a shuffler - the instruction makes no sense. She told me that the 4-deck shuffler requires Type-C batteries (but the packaging clearly says 4 AA batteries). It works with the right size batteries. When shuffling 4-deck cards, the cards simply fall to the ground as they are shuffled - NOT on a spring-loaded platform as shown in the YouTube video; We spent quite a bit of time figuring out where the spring loaded platform actually was, but for our product it didn't exist. However, the printed instructions directed us to a YouTube video that was NOT for our product (with a generic title). Antoinette was very nice and stayed on the line until we found and installed the C batteries. Then it worked. We informed Antoinette that the company had serious problems: (1) the advertised YouTube video does not match the 4-deck product we purchased, and (2) the packaging incorrectly says "requires 4 AA batteries", although it is a C battery device. She said the company would give the Shuffler a four month warranty (until 3-12-19) if we had any other issues. This Revain review is intended to warn future buyers. Our problems with this device have left us angry and frustrated. The device is designed to encourage relaxation with a friendly deck of cards, and we spent over an hour on it (plus the time to write this review). Consistent use of this device will determine whether we write another review for Revine in the future. If it doesn't work as expected, I hope to write another review. If I'm silent, you can interpret that as "so far, so good". Didn't happen. Period.
