I bought this particular product because I was looking for something to carry over my shoulder to free my hands for poles when walking long distances. I needed something I could use for items that wouldn't fit in my purse (which I carry on the other side over my shoulder) and might be heavy (like water bottles or large books). Not only is it perfect for my needs, but it also looks well made and has additional pockets inside and out for all the extras. It's not something I would use as a wallet, but as a useful carry-on it works. PS Some customers have complained about an unpleasant odor, but I don't notice anything of the sort.
