I gave my 86 year old mother my old silk scarf and replaced it with this one. This is a good quality scarf. I like silk scarves because there isn't a thick tuft of wool hanging around the neck. When I go in I don't have to take it off and I end up sweating down my neck while getting my coffee. Some people think that a silk scarf is too thin to do the job well. I wear a silk scarf and silk knickers when I'm cycling at about 35 mph in 20 degrees and my neck never gets cold. It's been hours. Hope this helps others.
