Sits upside down. You literally have to strain your neck to get your head up hold it or it will just hang off the back of the chair. Looks like a big high chair but it isn't. It's quite small. My granddaughter is 3.5 years old. We all looked at it and thought maybe it would be good to sit another year to sit back, never.
