This is a great product to fix the hair and give it volume. These sponge donuts can be twisted, twisted and pinned at will. I'm not into "donut buns" but I take these little donut sponges and twist them into a perfect motionless retro bouffant. What I love most about these little donuts is that they are easy to set up with invisible bobby pins for the strongest and easiest hairstyle. Much better than the bumpers, upholstery, scarves and various inserts I struggled with before finding them. I also love that you get more than one donut because you can experiment with it - I took one of the donuts and cut it so it's now a long tube of sponge that I use to make a luscious and beautiful giant French twist (remember Cate Blanchett in House With a Clock in the Walls). So if you want your hairstyle to be big and strong, this is a good choice. Five stars.
