I noticed that a few people have mentioned that these beds are not 100% washable. You are not. The COVER is 100% washable and the pillow is covered with waterproof seams, so no. Bessie and Barney say on their website to REMOVE the cover through the zipper and wash the cover only. These beds are really cool. The cover can be washed and the cushion wiped with a damp cloth.
