That's what I had in mind when I was looking for a work bag. I'm on a hybrid schedule due to COVID, so I needed a way to keep my life mobile. I carry my laptop (approx. 17 inch diagonal), power cable and mouse. The front tall pocket is perfect for 8 1/2 x 11 papers. I also carry all my gym clothes (no shoes, I keep them in the locker), breakfast, coffee and a bottle of water. I could also put my lunch in, but I'm not currently doing that. Overall I am very happy with it and would buy it again!
