After reading the amazing reviews of this height adjustable workstation I was very happy to get it. Today I spent almost 90 minutes building. put this together and am more disappointed with the build quality and fit than I ever expected. I'm not new to building things like this and I can follow the instructions and use the tools. Regardless, the table I received was easy to install "before" step 5 when "left and right guides" were installed and then it was a bear! Screws that were too big for the holes in the metal didn't go all the way in, despite using a cordless screwdriver. The rails themselves were stiff and difficult to move even before installation. The general directions are basically according to the illustration with the corresponding letters in the parts list; fairly easy to understand but it would be much clearer if the parts in each box had letter designation stickers on them. Time will tell if this desk will survive everyday use despite the poor fit of the keyboard tray. What I like: + The look of the desk is tidy, with a large work surface to place two monitors, a large monitor (approx. 32 inch) or a 21 inch monitor with stationery. The desk is adjustable so that the height of the monitor reaches the appropriate ergonomic level. .+ The keyboard tray is almost as wide and deep as a desktop and can be adjusted.+ Adjustable bottom tray; the same width and depth as the keyboard tray.+ The metal frame is strong and looks solid. Good in a sense; he won't move. bad in another; it won't move past a certain point, and it still has room to move on. - Poorly seated keyboard screws and tray rails are not seated properly. The screws were stripped and luckily I had similar ones instead that actually fit better. Adjustments to be made to the table require the user to disassemble a portion of the table. Difficult adjustment. The written directions were fine, but could have been a lot better. I wish there were letter stickers on the parts in the box to make assembly easier. Maybe I got a lemon when it comes to the rails and how the posts were drilled? IF this table comes out as intended and the keyboard navigation works properly, I would probably like this table.------------------------------------ -- -- --- -------- UPDATE: 11/2/16 I've been using this table for many years now and thought I'd add an update to this review to maybe help others who are looking to purchase it. .Firstly I like that the table top is height adjustable. It was just what I needed to make my office space more ergonomic. Second, it holds a 34" monitor perfectly (edge to edge) and has a RevainBasics monitor mount on the back that will hold a 24" monitor. The table is strong; Hold the monitors without bending in the middle and there's no wobble when I'm typing on the keyboard (I added a 3M adjustable keyboard to this desk instead of using the included tray). Third, I removed the shelf at the bottom of the table and never returned it. It didn't affect the stability and functionality of the table in any way and gave me a lot more legroom. For me, the purchase of this table was associated with the possibility of adjusting the height of the table and the width of the table. Despite my reservations after the initial build, it has held up to everyday use and performed as expected. Is it worth the asking price? Not for me. That speaks for the quality of the workmanship (poor connection to each other at first, laminated composite construction of the desktops). I think if you buy it for a hundred and seventy or less you're getting the "right" price. Despite these limitations and niggles, the metal frame is good and the height adjustment works as expected.
