Received this about a day after ordering. It was fast but too good to be true. I ordered two of these for someone who asked for them. I have never had such problems with this MP3. Until recently this person ordered 2 of these before the 2 I ordered for myself, when he plugged the USB into his computer the MP3 stopped working. For both. At first I thought he did something wrong but when I ordered and tried two of these for myself. They turned out to be defective just like the other person said. The first device turned on normally, but when I connect the USB to my computer, the device's screen shows the USB connection indicator, but the image is completely corrupt. I unplugged the USB cable and the device immediately turned off. And I can never turn it on again. The second device turns on but almost freezes on the Coby logo bezel and took a very long time to get to its menu. I selected the music section on the device and it showed the default audio file name in a different language. And he hung. So all I can say is that I advise others not to buy these particular devices to have an MP3 player. DO NOT BUY THIS! I don't normally ask others not to buy a product, but this is really pathetic. How do I make a device that fails on first use? It should not be.
