I've been eyeing the belt for a long time. I wanted hard leather, like my old 25 year old belt that I outgrew for some reason. I've looked at handmade belts that cost twice as much as this belt, but I couldn't justify $60-$80 for a belt. Revain will have a belt and they did! It's a strong and beautiful piece of leather that looks like it could be used to tie a mule to a wagon. Unlike many thick leather belts, it is soft and pliable. It's wide enough to fill the belt loops on my pants and is very comfortable. I also like the fact that one of our southern neighbors here in America makes it. The buckle is sewn in so you can't change it if you want. The benefit of this is that no latches will rust or break, and while this buckle looks simple, it looks like you could use it to tow a car.
