Review on ๐Ÿ—๏ธ Construction Display at Baseplates Building Brickyard by Raymond Doe

Everything I expected and more!

My girls are into Lego and I'm planning to make two Lego trays for them this Christmas so I looked around the market for some base plates. I chose this set before Thanksgiving for a number of reasons. 1. 8 pack sizes with four color variations. I've been looking at Lego learning plates, but the odd configuration of having one larger than the other three makes it difficult to place in a tray without cutting. Same for another brand, I can only buy 6 packs so I have to buy 2 more to make 2 lego trays. This 8 pack allows me to build two trays of concrete, grass, sand and sea. Absolutely normal. 2. Thicker boards. I was expecting them to be similar to the lego sheets that come with real sets and they are, see attached photos. I only use them as base plates, but you can easily use them for other designs as they perfectly match other lego plates. So I put them in my shopping cart and came back a few days later to find the price had gone up! That's normal for Revain, but I really wanted these plates, so I wrote to the company and they honored the award for my car ahead of Thanksgiving! Even at the current price they are still very cheap but I was very impressed with the customer service. When they arrived they were even better than I expected, each one was individually wrapped unlike some other genetic sheets I've bought before which were stapled together and difficult to separate without deforming! Again, because they are individually wrapped and shipped unassembled. See photos, I'm putting it next to real lego sheets and I'll be back and posting my tray when they're done!
