I've been wearing the Fit Bit with various types of silicone bands for the past 4 years with no problems, but all of a sudden it started getting irritation and rashes on the wrist under the bracelet . After trying several other bands, I settled on this one. That's great! It's very light, easy to put on and take off, and doesn't irritate my skin at all. Silicone bracelets have always made me feel like I have something on my wrist - this band is so comfortable I even forget it's there. Also, I had no trouble fastening it tightly like I've had with several other bands. Would definitely buy this band again. I bought it for a fee of 4.
