I purchased this bag for an international trip, and it traveled well. The material is pliable and durable like rubber, but smooth like suede. It has a unique but understated appearance which made it relatively easy to distinguish among all the similarly-sized dark bags on our tour bus. My husband, who purchased a highly-rated but much cheaper bag, wound up envying the padded shoulder strap on this bag, so we took turns carrying each others’ bags. The bag has no structure on the inside, which makes it a little messy inside, but that also maximizes how much stuff you can throw into it. The material will not show dirt and will be easy to clean. This is my second or third carry-on bag ever, and probably my last, because I think this bag will last twenty or thirty years. The sellers of this bag might be the manufacturers as well. They are very eager to please and sent nice notes.
