I love these socks! My shoe size is 8.5 and I'm 5'8". My calf is 14 inches around. I bought the size medium and they fit the part of the foot and the length of the toe perfectly. Compression is good, not too much and not too little. The colors and patterns are fantastic. The only downside would be that there are other socks of similar quality at a lower price. That's about the average price range. But the quality is excellent. I've washed them twice since buying them and tumble dried and the quality has not changed.
