Fantastic projector for the price. Outperforms some popular entry-level projectors.

I've had a few days to use this product and test its capabilities. In short, this is a well built, great little projector. I will be using it primarily for outdoor installation but did some basic testing at home first before getting my new outdoor screen. My house doesn't have white walls, but I was able to project a nice image onto a light gray wall. This "pops" the black values. I have attached photos. Really don't make it fair. This is an older camera, so it struggles with crisp, bright detail in darker conditions. The device comes with an HDMI cable, an AV cable and instructions. I didn't need any instructions or anything as it all worked in about a minute. I connected it to my WiFi with no problems. Below you will find the advantages and disadvantages as well as a brief overview. PROS: $$ Inexpensive $$ Extremely bright with no lights. Worked very well even with room lights on. (Lights in the background, do not shine on the lens) Excellent viewing angle. Solid build quality. use. The key layout is very nice. Enough inputs for 2 digital sources (I used the Tivo Stream 4k player and DTV box) CONS: (some of them are picky) The package doesn't include 2 AA batteries needed for the remote control. Limited AV control. (Only the basic settings for brightness, contrast, sharpness, etc. Fan noise is quite loud (even though I sat only 2ft from the projector. At normal volume levels from the source, fan noise wasn't a problem at all. ) The unit heats up a bit since I was in a small room, outdoor won't be a problem The weird Dolby Audio logo was present in the lower left corner of the screen (see photo how it blends into sports scores. Approx $200 total) this thing is a Bargain Can't wait for my outdoor screen to arrive I had an InFocus projector about 12 years ago which I used for home theater this new This new unit is great and will suit my needs as an open air theater , when the sun goes down. Highly recommended!
