Sturdy for toddlers is an odd design flaw.

They are perfect for a mobile baby! They are durable and I love that the high top look really helps keep them stable. The only annoying thing is that the little white "shoelaces" can be pulled out by small children's hands very easily! They serve no purpose so I think the shoes would be better without them. I had to refuel it so as not to irritate and not stand out all the time. not annoying enough to send them back, but it's a weird quirk that just isn't needed for the design. (may be,
