I used to use Head and Shoulder products. I especially like the Deep Moisture Conditioner which allows me to easily detangle my 3c-4a hair in the shower. I also used the Moisture Care Scalp Soother. When I found out there was a line specifically for black hair, I wanted to try it. The scalp cream is water based and the second ingredient is coconut oil. I was expecting to see glycerin on the list, but it's not. My scalp prefers glycerin. I prefer this product to a scalp pacifier as it is non-liquid and does not smell strongly of alcohol. I have found that the scalp pacifier dries out my hair even though it works on the scalp. It's COMPLETELY different. It is my fault for reading the reviews and not taking the risk of purchasing the product just because it didn't work for someone whose body chemistry may be different from mine. So I recommend at least giving this product a chance. You may need to apply it a little more than once a day, but it's soothing and moisturizing. After the first use I could say that I would like to have this product and would order again very soon.
