This saw exceeded my expectations. I was afraid that he would fall on the branch with his teeth up to avoid sawing. The first branch I used it on was only about 12 feet tall just in case it gets stuck I can get it back. Well it landed teeth down so I felled a 4 inch branch in less than a minute. I've since cut 7" branches at 30 feet. Sometimes I have to shake the ropes so my teeth can bite. And I attached some 6" pieces of 1/2" PVC to the handle cords. Worth your money. Me I also have a slingshot to accurately throw the line over tall branches.
