Coming from a special desk with a makeshift shifter mount, TV and loose paddle shifters, I have a few comments. The convenience of being able to drag it into my closet when not in use is nice and frees up space. The derailleur that slides right into the frame isn't wide enough and my foot keeps touching it. I am quite overweight so skinny people may not have this problem. While it's strong enough to mount a monitor arm and monitor, which is really handy and I believe it can be abused, it's not bolted down and aggressive driving will shake the monitor quite a bit so it's up to you to decide how sensitive you are. I'm still trying to find the best solution. The shifter, although twisted tight, still wobbles a bit when shifting, but not enough to ruin the experience. I was happy that it fits my Fanatec Clubsport rear derailleur but not the Thrustmaster TMX pro. The clamp that comes with this wheel holds it perfectly. With nothing but my previous table build to compare to, this seems like a pretty decent budget option in my experience.
