I got the X-large. I'm 5'7" and I guess my hands are about average. I usually buy large size gloves but some said these run small. The X-large are just right for me, great for shoveling snow. I got them wet once, slightly wet, and my hands stayed warm and dry. They are very comfortable to wear with the lamb's wool lining (I guess that's what it is).I've not had them long so I can't tell you how well built they are, but they appear to be well made, time will tell. I think they are a good value for the price and would buy them again.
