My 12 year old son has an Osgood Schlatters and we bought this sleeve to wear under our jeans during the day to replace the heavier bandage with straps he wears over wearing his jeans. . The plan was to wear a support arm daily and only use a larger bandage during soccer practice and games. He liked it so much on his first day of training that he asked to wear just the sleeve to practice and see how it worked and if it provided enough support. It worked well, he says, and he said it feels a lot better than bulky braces (which aren't really as bulky as most, since they're made to be worn while playing sports). He's been wearing it for a week now, both during the day and in training. Looks like we can omit the second parenthesis! Great product, arrived quickly and a lot cheaper. Very happy with this case and my purchase!
