I have a king size bed with a 2.5 inch memory foam mattress topper. I was fed up with the extra height due to the mattress pad causing my sheets to unravel in the middle of the night. This product exceeded my expectations and solved my problem. However, if you have a heavy mattress and pillow like mine, I would recommend at least two people plug it in. Attaching the braces was easy, in fact I never had to lift the mattress. However, the effort is 100% worth it. Pro tip: We tried laying the sheet down first, then flipping the mattress over so the back was exposed. It took a lot of effort, but we turned it around and put on suspenders. However, when flipped over, the braces came off due to the weight of everything and just general manual handling of the mattress. So my recommendation is to leave your mattress as you normally would and have one person lift one corner at a time as you hook them in from below, then slide/move the struts to the end of the bed, have the person move to the opposite corner and lift that side so you can complete the connection of a pendant. You'll have to lengthen the support to do it this way, but you can tighten it once you've connected both sides and are sure the person holding a corner of the mattress won't drop it on you. .
