This case fits my 10 year old daughter perfectly. The material is quite hard rubber and quite thick. It's easy to take off and put back on, but we didn't have any issues with it falling off. There is no screen cover included, but since the front blisters around the front of the tablet, it will be difficult for the screen to touch the ground if dropped. She complains that it's too bulky on certain things, so sometimes she takes it off. Overall she likes it and the tablet doesn't scratch or break.
