I have always used single ended sponges and never a "tea towel". I've tried the Scrub Buddy/Mom but they're hard to hold and you can't get into small nooks and crannies or small jars. They are extremely flexible, stay clean much longer, wash easily between uses and are easy to wash. I like that they were a nice neutral black color. They probably aren't great for vacuuming up spills because they don't really absorb, but they clean dishes, kitchen utensils, and tables very well. Love them and throw away all the nasty sponges.
