Comes in a plastic bag. When I took out the fur blanket it was a total mess! Everything was dull and looked awful (see photo). So I took a wide-toothed comb and started combing it. It took over 2 hours for the mat to look completely good. And while I was brushing it, there was a lot of hair loss. Some just went up in the air (after which I had to suck and suck), and some could be torn off with a comb and placed in a pouch. So if you want to get this, know that you can't just pick it up and use it right away. You need to comb the carpet, which will take time. When I combed through everything, there were waves in some areas of the fur (it's not totally straight and smooth, it's a little wavy). Another thing is that there was an area that left a hole. I tried combing the fur in the direction it seemed to be moving but all I ended up with was an area like a hole. I then tried different ways of combing the fur to fill in the area, but it ended up looking weird. So I just didn't use that area and didn't cover it when I used it in photos. I am showing photos - 2 of what it looked like when I received it, 1 of what it looked like when I combed it, 1 of how the fur looked after I had finished combing it (you can see the waves in this photo) , 1 how it looked odd in the hole type area (within the hole type area you can clearly see the waves I am talking about) and 1 which hopefully shows waves on part of the fur when the other photos don't. Overall this is a good fur blanket for you price. A fur blanket looks great if you take the time to brush it. I don't see anyone wanting to use it the way it was. So if you don't want to spend time learning it, you should probably get another one. So I recommend this rug if you know you need to brush it, which took me over 2 hours. Therefore I give 4 stars. I considered giving it 3 stars because it was annoying as hell taking so long to brush a fur blanket plus the time I had to waste vacuuming and vacuuming afterwards but the price is on par with others like here. I had a set of photography props that came with a fur blanket and that fur blanket was just as much a tangled mess so it could have been anything normal. I don't know because I've never had such fur blankets. That's why I chose 4 stars.
