Review on Logitech LIGHTSYNC Wired Gaming Mouse by Kevin Singleton

Best "cheap " mouse you can buy

Honestly this is the best mouse I have ever used. If you are looking for the best value for money and are looking for a new PC gaming setup, this is the first mouse I recommend. Also, if you are a 3D artist looking for a mouse with a good scroll wheel button and scrolling mechanism that works great with all your 3D software packages, I would recommend this mouse. As for the quality you get, I personally think it's cheap and good value. Now, while I rave about how good this deal is, I'm not going to say it's as good as the Razer Viper Ultimate Wireless I just bought. It's just not that good. The G203 is significantly heavier than the Viper Ultimate and I really appreciate the lighter mouse. The G203 is solidly built though and I'm sure I'll be using the two I have for a number of years as they are well made and durable. DPI) and I doubt that will be the limiting factor for most people. It has a pooling rate of 1000Hz, which is a lot faster than any monitor I know of and I doubt you'll really need much more, if that, any time soon. The shape of the mouse body is good, having used the Viper Ultimate, I would like the G203 to be a little shorter when it lifts off the mouse pad, but seriously, a small note. Having used the Viper Ultimate, I wish the back and forward buttons on the side of the mouse were a bit larger than they are on the Viper Ultimate, but they work. The mouse backlight is surprisingly nice and smooth. In my experience, the Logitech G Hub software is well designed and easy to use. I prefer G Hub over Razer Synapse. Synapse asks for credentials so often and it's a pain-inducing rage, whereas Logitech gets it right and doesn't require a login at all. You just have to install the software and that's it, it works and doesn't take up too much system resources. This mouse's cable is a bit heavier than some and less flexible than some, but that's not a bad thing. I highly recommend the bungee mouse cable for this mouse, it's a great combo if you don't want to spend an extra coin on a wireless mouse and you can be very competitive in games with this setup. I personally use this mouse with the Thermaltake Tt e SPORTS Galeru Bungee on my work machine and it's amazing. I don't usually carry a bungee in my laptop backpack, but the G203 is my main laptop mouse and I do well in competitive games without a bungee. This mouse is an easy recommendation for me, I think it's one of the best. Investments you can make as a PC gamer. I reckon it's light years better than the mice that come with most if not all pre-built PCs. As a longtime (25+ years) PC builder, enthusiast and gamer it's hard for me to put into words how impressive this mouse is in terms of value for money, it's a milestone for me. Those are the minimum and maximum I think you really need to be a strong competitive player, everything else is either extra icing on the cake or e-waste that will quickly fill landfills for years to come. Just my personal guess that this mouse can last 10 years and during that time there is no compelling reason to upgrade other than weight. There might be a slow transition to USB-C and that might be a reason to buy a new mouse, but to be honest I think this one will last a while if you want it.
