They fit perfectly a size small (5/6) for my 20 month old girl who is 35 inches and 32 pounds (they shrunk a little when I washed and dried them for the first time). Anything smaller than 4T fits around her waist, but of course the legs are always too long and have to be buttoned up. So I thought, "Capri would be perfect!" and they are. I have two of each color, black and grey. Nice thick, soft stretchy cotton. They are identical. However, ALL leggings for little girls have a cut that doesn't take diapers into account. It's okay if the pants you're buying are for taller, potty-trained girls, but we all know leggings are sold as babies. The sizes are exactly the same Low inseam which means that if your baby isn't wearing a romper (and she won't because they don't sell rompers larger than 2T) you'll always see the top of her diaper sticking out everywhere When her shirt rides up, and when she pees in her diaper once or twice, you can clearly see the bulge down one leg, especially when she was in a car seat or in a stroller. Maybe I should look for some bloomers for her. Or just wear them more often. God knows she's had enough of it, but I always worry that she'll get them dirty. Still great pants.
