I wanted a smaller ottoman that would not get in the way of other people sitting next to me on the couch. I have issues with my knees so I cannot use a large ottoman that presses on my knees and pulls them straight out. This ottoman was just right because it was under the floor. I like the color (red, not bright red, but more of a burgundy). So it's very easy to put together (2 minutes) and it's a solid piece. I highly recommend this purchase. The delivery was quick too.
