Review on Magewell USB Capture HDMI Gen2 - 🎥 Ultimate USB 3.0 HD Video Capture Dongle Model 32060 by Jeffrey Shatzel

I started the Capture Dongle right out of the box. A few days later I was live streaming a 4 day event and streamed over 40 hours in that span. The device has excellent plug and play capabilities. I found and downloaded the driver because the sound wasn't working on my computer's USB 3.0 inputs, but that didn't solve the problem. The device will become VERY HOT in a moment. Of course, when it gets hot, it slows down. The inputs also seem a little loose, and if I moved the device during use, it would briefly go off at times. For the price I expected better and hope to find something more reliable in the future. I was able to get it working for a very demanding event, but it didn't make life as easy as I had hoped. PROS: - Plug and Play - Worked with different encoders CONS: - VERY HOT for 30+ minutes usage (literally had to stay on an ice pack while using it for hours) - Video stutters when it gets hot - Audio NOT WORKING when connected to a USB 3.0 port on my computer (works with USB 2.0)
