These bags are a nice size to hold a generous one person portion or plenty for one person to share. I was able to fit 6 regular size cookies in easily, just over 1 cup of chex mix (Texas Trash), and a nice portion of mixed candy (not measured). The twisty ties are long enough to easily tie off the bags securely with some extra for a decorative flare. The width of the bag makes filling them easy. The seams on the bags are well-glued. I did not have any tear or come apart. I used these bags to put together a collection of yummy snacks into baskets for Christmas gifts. The size was perfect.
