My kid hates most shoes that look a little weird. Shoes changed I buy her what she hates, most of the shoes she chooses in the store she hates too. I usually have to buy her the exact same shoes, but I have a new size. When I got them in the mail she automatically didn't want to touch them, but when she put them on she fell in love immediately, she didn't have to go in and choose. It's like she just found out it's her new favorite. I think because they fit like a sock but with a bottom sole. They are not always used as water shoes, but they are not designed for winter use. I will buy her again when she outgrows it. Somehow they hadn't fallen apart yet, even though she wore them in her socks every day or when she went swimming. The bottom sole pops out so I think you can easily wash them in the washing machine. Be aware that they may fall off during the actual strong stroke of the legs.
