I was very pleased with these socks. My feet and especially my heels have been SUPER dry this winter. Cracks abound. After unrolling them, I put them on and slipped a pair of thicker socks over them to keep them in place and stay in place. Despite being a size 11 (women's) shoe, I've never had a problem with socks being too small for my foot (even when the upper sock limit was a size 9). They barely fit on my heel, with a lot of effort. Anyway, I continued my day in my new socks feeling a little uncomfortable but definitely feeling like my feet were hydrated. When I took them off after 3 hours, the gel inside crumbled. I think maybe you should only wear them when you sleep. Despite my issues, they were pretty good for sleeping on (they slipped off quite a bit for me, but probably wouldn't be a problem for people with smaller feet) and I noticed a significant improvement in the hydration of my feet.
