These napkins arrived in perfect condition with no veils or jagged edges. I bought these to use on my two white bedside tables instead of the white lace doilies I used previously. This didn't work because each item placed on the napkins left a dark black mark underneath that item on the bottom of the napkin, which then disappeared when the napkins were lifted. My bedside tables are painted with glossy paint which could have something to do with it. I could still use these doilies on my nightstands by placing them on top of my original white lace doilies. I tried using two other napkins on the kitchen table which is covered with glass but it was a complete failure. Instead of looking at a transparent doily, I was looking at a doily with air pockets underneath from one end of the doily to the other. I even tried to get them out by rolling up the napkins with a rolling pin, but that didn't work. The wipes themselves are good, I just couldn't use them exactly as I planned.
