This holder holds the tablet very well in the car. I was concerned that the mechanism for attaching to the headrest post would not be as secure or a little "loose" horizontally, but it isn't. Remains very stable. This mount also has a plus, but it really depends on your vehicle. Many other headrest mounts hold the tablet farther from the headrest (depending on your vehicle). So in my case, the other headrest holders bring the tablet much closer to the rear seat passengers than I think. This holds the tablet fairly close to the seat. This is good, but it also limits the (already slightly limited) viewing angle adjustment of the mount.
