We bought two KingCamp chairs for our parents (in their 80s). They are active and fit seniors but they need to use arms of a chair when transitioning from sitting to standing for extra support/stability. We opted to buy them two KingCamp Chairs (this one and the KingCamp Director Chair Folding Aluminum Padding Portable Heavy Duty Comfort Sturdy Reclining with Armrest Side Table and Cup Holder ) due the descriptions of them being very sturdy. Both chairs arrived and the clear winner was the other KingCamp Chair model. This chair was 'saggy' when you sat in it, meaning that you sank down it in much more. It was was more difficult to open and close, that is you had to exert a lot more pressure to do it. Additionally, the arms were thinner in this chair which made it more difficult to use to push off of when transitioning from sitting to standing. It was also much heaver (granted that was in the descriptions of both chairs). It oddly much less comfortable than the other chair - not sure if that was due to the "sagginess" or the way it was constructed. The only pro was how small it folded up -- but that wasn't worth it for our use. Therefore this chair didn't work for my parents; and my husband and I didn't like enough to use it ourselves, so we paid to return it.I do recommend the other KingCamp chair (KingCamp Director Chair Folding Aluminum Padding Portable Heavy Duty Comfort Sturdy Reclining with Armrest Side Table and Cup Holder) but I can't recommend this chair.
