Xerox 6022 Printer - Update - Low Density Fix 093-922 Black Cartridge Verification Error

***UPDATE*** THERE IS A "HOT FIX" ERROR 093-922 ON A Phaser 6022 PRINTER! CALL 800-835-6100 option 1 then option 1. I spoke to an EXCELLENT technician, Shane Russi, who helped me download the patched firmware and install it on my 6022 over Wi-Fi. So far the printer is working perfectly. Ignore the rest of this check - the printer is now working. IF you buy this black cartridge for your Phaser 6022 printer and think it can solve black cartridge error 093-922, think again. My original black "starter" cartridge caused the printer to display this error. Several reviews online seemed to suggest that the starter cartridges wouldn't print too many pages, so I thought it was good that I bought this new cartridge, plus a separate order for a full set of all the color cartridges - assuming that that would be the problem would solve. I have about $500 in a new printer and all new cartridges. The printer works fine - IF it doesn't have an 093-922 error, but now the error is permanent and won't reset. I've tried shaking the cartridge, cleaning the contacts, resetting the printer, etc. So my first advice is DO NOT buy the Xerox Phaser 6022 printer. My second tip: DO NOT waste good money after trying bad solutions by buying new cartridges - they are too expensive to experiment with solutions. Is it a printer or a cartridge? - I don't know, but I had the same error with two new genuine Xerox cartridges. I often see this identical complaint online. Also, I'm still trying to sign up for Xerox My Support - it's almost impossible.
