Review on πŸ”Œ Maxxima 4 Outlet USB Adaptor Plug with Dual Ports, Grounded 3.1A Charging, and 800 Joules Surge Protector by Peris Auditore

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Easy-to-use, practical range of sockets

For example 4 sockets and 2 USB ports. But it actually works for my setup as I need the USB to power the PlayStation Classic which only draws 1 amp anyway. This design works really well as it doesn't have a phone holder like other popular items here. There are no moving parts or parts that can be hooked and unhooked. Would have liked two 2.4A USB sockets but I have found other products for this need. Like I said, if you know what to expect it's not a big disappointment. Theoretically you can use a 2.4 amp device, but the other USB port then only needs 0.3 amps to power even your regular smartphone. It can still work with a 500mAh device, but there are fewer and fewer these days. It might even be able to charge a power-hungry smartphone, but that's just a theory. Realistically, only one tablet or smartphone gets enough juice at a time. Would give 5 stars if a newer model comes out with a total current rating of 4.8 amps. Oh, it's great that it has surge protection to modestly protect our entertainment center devices.

Pros
  • Overvoltage protection
Cons
  • Long delivery time
