I previously bought another mattress pad (SafeRest Premium Hypoallergenic Waterproof Mattress Pad – No Vinyl) because it was cheap and had over 5,000 reviews with an average rating of 4.5 stars. I wish I had gotten this one first instead! This mattress topper keeps the bed much cooler than terrycloth covers. I used to sweat constantly at night with the previous device I bought. This one is made out of some really cool stuff. Also, it protects your bed from stains, dust and insects very well. I spent a decent amount of money on my double bed so it was a worthwhile investment for me. I had a couple of different stains on the tread and was concerned when I took it off when moving house that I would see stains all over the bed, but the mattress looked brand new!
