Compact, easy to use and better than we thought!

We've been using the camera for about 2-3 weeks and are very pleased so far. When we googled to see what reviews and ratings were being posted this one came up in our search and came highly recommended and given the price we got it for we decided to take the plunge and put it on the to put a sample. There are a few cons that we found but nothing that can't be overlooked, especially when compared to other cameras on the market! Pros: - Fairly compact - Mounts securely and is fully adjustable - With the exception of the mini SD card formatting, it's pretty much a plug and play deal if you don't want to tweak the settings with exceptional quality. Came a quick start guide which is a bonus. Minimal controls and buttons (so less confusion along the way). right and left lanes at the same time - the resolution is quite good and you can clearly see the number plate of the car in front of you. However, when it's 4 car lengths ahead, you can't see the license plate, but everything else is clear - There's an easy-to-reach button on top of the camera to take a quick photo - The camera takes a picture after the vehicle is parked up for a while. - Has a sensor to be activated on collisions or events. These videos/images cannot be overwritten as they are saved in a separate folder (except for normal recording). This is good because you can be sure that the data is safe, but the bad thing is that you have to delete it manually. - The ability to easily turn the sound on and off - The ability to pause the recording (in case you don't want anything to be interrupted). is recorded) and this starts recording again as usual (automatically) when the car is restarted. cable on the driver's side. . . but it would be a plus for non-US drivers - Long cord, but for mid-size cars and some larger vehicles it would be difficult to route it around the perimeter, the car and to the outlet - Formatting the card is difficult initially as you it can't format the card with the camera, and we learned the hard way (after a trip where we actually intended to use the camera) that Windows 10 doesn't format the card for FAT32 either. After searching the web, we had to download a (free) program to properly format the card. After that it worked like clockwork, but at first we were a bit annoyed. Also, the quick guide didn't mention that we can't format the card in the device (or at least we didn't see it there) so we had to wait until we got back from the trip to read the guide more since we did didn't take it with you on vacation! The instruction manual is complete, but the print is small. It would be nice if we could charge the battery longer so that we can use the camera even when it is not connected to the mains. It would be nice if this had a rear view, but I think this will be available in a later version. The ball mount of the camera allows you to adjust and rotate the camera, but also when it is tightened to the maximum and you press the button to take a picture. Freeze frame but easily resolved
