Threads fall off because of thick cord

Looks great, just doesn't stick well. In addition, it looks horrible if there is a huge cable box next to the first strand. The cable box is heavy so we sealed it with tape but the light still pulls down. Also, sometimes the filament doesn't light up until you flip the connector, which is weird.
