Wrong styli in the stylus
Some styli don't fit in my Nintendo 3DS slot. The little white heads on it were different for the pair and in the end this pair didn't fit in the slot. However, most of them were in the right form, which made up for it. If it takes a while before you lose the pen, no big deal. But if you lose them very often, a few inappropriate ones might ease the loss or reduce the amount you get. I don't know if the 3DS XL has a different stylus slot than the regular 3DS and maybe that's why there was a mix, but the mix is very strong.
