I loved this until.I walked on it after being out in the rain.Wet shoes + rubber mat=a slippery surfaceSafety concerns aside, the mat is quite nice & very good looking. Its comfortable to walk on barefoot & your family members with paws will think so, too.Its generously sized & fairly heavy so it stays in place without issue, even when wiping your shoes off. It also has a low profile so it can even fit under doors with limited clearance.Leaves, etc sweep off easily w/ broom and being that its PVC & not a textile, hosing it down is also an option as it doesn't take long to dry.If you have time, please check out the pix I attached for close up of the tiny rubber loops that make up the surface of the mat. I still like it, I just know now that I have to proceed with caution if my shoes or feet are wet. I just wouldn't recommend this for the elderly or those w/ an increased risk of falling.
