I've worn these several times on the boat and in the lake. They are very cute, comfortable, and give you that added feeling of a little more coverage without the feeling of "wearing shorts in the water". They have regular bathing suit bottoms in them, so you wouldn't need to wear any other bottoms if you didn't want to. I have a pretty large butt and thighs and they fit really well. I really like them!
