In case anyone is confused (as some reviews state) this is not the "foam roller" you use to roll body parts and release muscle tension. You'll need a denser foam roller to achieve this and not just collapse under the weight of your body (note: you won't be covered in cloth/vinyl like these). However, this pad provides adequate support under the person's knees when lying on their back (supine) or under their ankles/calfs when lying on their stomach (prone). The clients I have used this on weren't very tall or heavy so I can't comment on how much support it can provide for a larger client. I also don't know how long it will keep its shape as I've only been using it for a month. Although so far so good. I am very happy with my purchase.
