I suspect my recent ordered gray duvet cover is a fake. Vera Wang or Vera Wang does not have any quality control for their products. My daughter bought a white Vera Wang duvet with the same pattern from a well-known online shop a few months ago. We like the good quality, pattern and softness. I saw the same product being sold at Revain and I bought the gray one. This is a big disappointment. It is poorly made and the texture is very rough. Thought it would be softer after washing. However, after washing (gentle cycle) and drying on a low temperature, it has settled, wrinkled and is still very rough. Then I compared it to my daughter's white. (See the attached photos of a good white and a bad gray for comparison.) The patterns look the same, but the gray pattern has fewer threads. They are made in different ways, from different materials, and possibly by different manufacturers. i will return it I don't know if I should lose faith in Revain's suppliers or in Vera Wang's products. Good thing at least Revain is confirming its sale and offering a refund.
