Works very well - so the kids don't flush the toilet and don't call the plumber. We have deterrents that prevent access to the toilet. Usually these are the ones that lock the lid so children can't get to it. The problem with such a deterrent is that sometimes you really have to leave and it's very inconvenient to unlock at that point. Well, for us at least - we don't end up using it - and guess what - another plumber call *sigh*. This flush lock is the answer - you can still relieve yourself without opening the lid lock. It can also be operated with one hand. It's important to make sure you don't use this in front of your child - otherwise it will defeat its purpose. Update 9/14: I bought the 3rd! See photos of all installations in my toilets. I've already bought another one and am looking forward to installing it to use the toilet at home - just in case.
