not the best of the best.

If you expect the best of the best, this is NOT THE ONE. The old adage "you get what you pay for” applies here too. While the stats seem impressive, the color reproduction and pixels per inch are not. It's an amazingly big screen, we can all read the stats, but having it on the table surprised me with its sheer size. Well it isn't. In the end, the screen needs to be somewhere in the middle between the resolution - or the best pixels per inch (ppi/dpi) for the intended viewing distance. On a regular desk, you'll be sitting pretty close to it, and if you have very good eyesight and expect it to look like a Surface Laptop 2 or similar, you'll be disappointed. I have another Samsung 34" WQHD (so it's a bit shorter than full 4K but full 4K wide) - and I like it a lot more and almost double the price of this screen here I think, now I know where the price difference comes from The problem can be worse if you use a setting higher than 100% dpi in Windows. Now that has a couple of good points. The price, the curvature chosen looks square, the port count is good, the rear one Port cover Overall a bit "cheap plastic" but that doesn't really bother - it's very light If you just want an office screen or really just want a giant screen so you can fit more content and still display it at a 200% dpi setting make it more accessible to people with less than perfect eyesight then this is a very good screen It's not a glowing review but I also chose to leave it which means it's not scr is gross, just not the best.

Pros
  • IMMERSIVE VISION: The Samsung 1500R's screen is heavily curved to draw you more fully into the action so you can enjoy a realistic, lifelike viewing experience.
Cons
  • Monitor speakers are too quiet.
