I don't know if I received a kit that was half cured in the bottle or if it really is such a thick and difficult to squeeze product (my only complaint). I'll put it this way - it's a good arm workout trying to squeeze the product out - dammit! Now I can knot pipes. In terms of ease of use, I found it to be pretty basic when I first tried Polygel, aside from the occasional bleed of the product onto my cuticles while riding the wrestling bus, which is a learning curve that comes with it. After figuring out how to hold the shapes in place without breaking the piece or tying my fingers together (your elbow should NOT be connected to the ear bone) so I can go LOWER and smooth everything out, I really felt better. I can't say it's any faster because you have to treat each finger individually or the shapes might move while you do the next nail. Fun! :D /End of sarcasm. I have also tried this poly gel on pointed nails as well as shaped nails. It worked beautifully and there was no problem cleaning the underside of the free edge of the nail. Overall I like the product/set very much and I would buy it again.
