These 5.25" black OSD Audio speakers look great, there's no denying that. The cases are very durable, stylish and together with the curved brackets definitely look like they will deliver. Appearances are deceptive. I haven't dealt with it yet, but the mids are already acceptable, the highs can be muted, but the lows are lost. I wasn't expecting a muffled bass. Neither of these speakers matched my indoor speakers anyway, but I was hoping they would be enough to fill my small 6ft by 12ft patio since a subwoofer was out of the question. Since my patio is so small and surrounded by walls on three of the four sides, not to mention my neighbors, I suspect these speakers will suffice, but I don't think they're appropriate for an outdoor patio/pool.
